OK, so now, the actual reason I came to Brussels in the first place: to see the mighty GRINDERMAN perform live! I flew over without a ticket, but after a bit of an trans-continental hustle, I managed to secure one for close to face value. The show was INSANELY awesome! Great venue, awesome crowd, and the band delivered BIG TIME! I managed to get a setlist, which I will scan when I get home. I was only able to snap a few photos during the show because I was too damn busy having fun!

October 16: Come On, Fulham!
A quick train ride early this morning, and I found myself standing in St. Pancras station in lovely London, England. After meeting up with my good friend Justin, we prepared ourselves for an event of events: an English Premier League Football match. I had secured us some sweet seats to see my favorite squad (Fulham) play at Craven Cottage.
After a brief monsoon, we got down and had an amazing time, even though they lost. The rest is here.
Yep, we're 5 year olds.
walking to our seats at Craven Cottage
dead center, first row. ROCK!
my other UK tradition...WAGAMAMA'S!!! YMMMAH!

October 15: Joining The EU
Day 2 in Brussels was a lot of walking...A LOT of walking. Due to my odd decrease in sense of direction, I wandered quite a bit, but I did manage to find the EU Headquarters and see much of this gorgeous city. Though lost, it was still a rather good day, and both IceBat and I remain in good spirits.
I am trying to be "artsy" here
It's an IceBat! And a fountain!
ROAR!! OUCH!
Another "failed smile" to add to the collection
EU Headquarters
IceBat joins the EU!
...watch that first step, it's a DOOZY!
